Feeling so happy to be sharing the skills of storytelling with so many parents and teachers at Katha Utsav. Story मशहूर मुस्कान  by Geeta Dharmarajan .

'हिंदी शिक्षण की चुनौतियाँ एवं समाधान' विषय पर कार्यशाला जिसमें मैंने अन्य विद्यालयों से आई कई अध्यापिकाओं से अपना अनुभव साझा किया। इसमें भाषा के विभिन्न कौशलों पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई।

Great to be the part of two days festival at Kanpur organised by Nutspace in collaboration with Chintel School! Delighted to see so many children listening to the stories throughout. There were five sessions all with different topics, different age groups. Feeling satisfied and very happy .

The life history of Indira Priyadarshini was  explained with the help of stories, ppt. and documentaries. The letters of Jawahar Lal Nehru to Indira were also read. Children also wrote letters as Indira writing to her father. 

गांधी जयंती पर मुझे कई स्थानों  जैसे नेहरु संग्रहालय , राजीव गांधी फॉउण्डेशन, किरण नादर संग्रहालय  पर गांधी जी के आश्रम  सम्बन्धी प्रसंग सुनाने का मौका मिला।  इसके अंतर्गत गांधी जी की प्रार्थना सभा एवं  चरखे का सन्दर्भ बच्चों को खूब भाया।

Helping children to know about trash,its impact on environment, how to reduce trash .
Storytelling cum workshop on waste and its management was conducted for children of classes II and III on the occasion of World Literacy Day. The stories कचरे का बादल by Pratham books and मोत्ताइनाइ दादी माँ by NBT were narrated. A video showing the menace of Plastic was also shown. Children were motivated to reuse things and reduce waste.

My interview at Curious Hounds

Trust an interviewer to string a series of vignettes to form a cohesive and interesting story. Feeling really elated today to have my interview published in #CuriousHounds, an online magazine that explores unique ideas. Through this interview, I got a chance to look back on my service of 23 years and the efforts I made to diversify my work, and in service of a cause that I believe is extremely important, that is reinvigoration of children's interest in Hindi, as a language rich with culture. This gives me a deep sense of satisfaction, which is what has made every effort worth it.
